Act Now, Our Heritage At Stake!

The intriguing issues of LGBT keeps appearing as headlines on our online portals especially, which should be dealt with at once.

We shall remain resolute in our stand against this devilish act and their so called 'human rights',an act meant to breakdown our cultural heritage and our religious beliefs to the lowest level.

This act which is hatched,planned, engineered and executed by influential people among the white race are the same people who colonized,brutalized,murdered and sold our forefathers for no justifiable reason, Are back to us once again to rob us of our very own cultural heritage that binds us together.

It's worth noting that this current the state of our constitution as expressed by law experts does not explicitly ban this unnatural act.

Therefore we call on Parliament of Ghana to initiate a bill that places strict punitive measures on this act to safeguard our cultural and religious heritage.

I was inspired to write when I read the contribution of The Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, “The future of the world belongs to Africa. We will not be misled again. This is a matter that people are trying to force on us. We are not boys and girls in this country and so we will not take it. I look forward to leadership to raise the matter for us to discuss and give a clear indication to everybody that Ghana will not compromise on our stance against homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexualism or whatever,” he noted.

I plead on the President His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo Danquah and the entire cabinet to support Parliament in passing a bill that will sanction the act appropriately.

Also,preachings against this alien culture should be intensified at worship centers and opinion leaders as well should publicly declare their readiness to resist any process or actions of people in authority in support of the act.

I urge every Ghanaian irrespective of party or religious affiliation to rise up against this unnatural phenomenon with all vigor and seriousness to send a signal to the lobbyists that they are not welcomed in our country and their goal won't be accomplished.Amen

Finally, Hon. Prof. Aaron Mike Oquaye,the speaker of parliament stated, if you think you are born a gay or lesbian kindly seek medical attention.

God created Adam and Eve not Adam and Adam or Eve and Eve.
