Head of Hult Prize on Campus Program for Ghana, Seth Konadu Awuah, has stated that with more universities /Colleges participating in the next cycle of Hult On Campus program starting September 2018/2019, Ghana is ready and set to have its first Hult Prize National Program (Hult Prize Ghana National)

In April, 2018,the Hult Prize Foundation appointed Mr. Seth Konadu Awuah to Lead it's Campus program for Ghana with the sole responsibility of facilitating and coordinating student engagement in Hult Prize through out Ghana, strengthening Hult Prize outreach and foster the acceleration of social entrepreneurship ecosystem in their country.

Hult Prize is a Start up accelerator for budding young social entrepreneurs which brings together the brightest college and university students from around the world to solve the most pressing issues facing the globe. The annual initiative is the world's largest crowdsourcing platform for social good and one of the planet leading Forces for good.

Participants compete in local events on campuses around the world to partake in the regional finals which takes place in 15 cities across the globe including Boston, San Francisco, London, Dubai, Shanghai, Lagos, Nairobi. Winning start-ups from each city move onto the Hult Prize Accelerator for the summer before attending the Annual Hult Prize Finals at the United Nations headquarters where they pitch for a chance to win USD1million dollars in seed capital.

In 2017/2018 University of Ghana, University of CapeCoast, Ashesi University, Catholic University Campus -Sunyani, Presbyterian University -Agogo, KNUST, Almond Institute, University of professional studies, Regional Maritime University were selected to host and participate in this global competition. Through the initiative of Campus Directors selected from a pool of application for this schools, winning teams from this school participated in regional finals in Dubai (KNUST&Ashesi), Lagos(KNUST,Catholic universities) and the rest in the other cities across the globe.

In 2018/2019 the Hult Prize Ghana team led by Seth Konadu Awuah is championing more student participation through a campus tour across Ghana dubbed "Be the Change" to engage more student population and the general public on Hult Prize. Winning teams from University Campuses in Ghana will be competing for a National Prize of $30,000 as seed Capital for winners and other prizes for other winners including mentorship from Hult Prize Foundation Global Team, Impact Hub Accra, Global Shapers, Founders Institute etc.

Hult Prize Ghana Campus program hopes to partner State Institutions like Ministry of Business Development, National Entrepreneurship and innovation plan (NEIP), Banks and Telecommunication Companies to breed the next generation of social entrepreneurs from Ghana.
