Ghana and Juventus midfielder, Kwadwo Asamoah says it hurts not to see Ghana at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

After playing in Germany, South Africa and Brazil World Cup respectively, the four-time African champions failed to make it to fourth straight successive World Cup appearance in Russia.

"Yes it hurt we didn't qualify for the World Cup," he told Atinka FM.

The skilful midfield dynamo further reiterated they [players] will do anything to qualify for the 2022 Mundial in Qutar.

"People were expecting a lot from Ghana this year at the World Cup but we hope to qualify for the next World Cup in 2022," he added.

Asamoah, who won the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia further revealed he has held talks with Black Stars coach, Kwesi Appiah on his return to the national team.
