$4.6b Mobile Money Interoperability Project Under NDC Versus $3.8m Executed Project Under NPP: The Looters And The Fraudsters

The NDC in 2016 awarded a contract to sibton switch systems for the execution of mobile money interoperability project at a cost of $4.6billion. The said company was not registered at the Registrar General's department even at the time the said company won the bid to execute the project. Same project which was going to cost us this whooping amount under the NDC, today it is going to cost us $ 3.8Million. The question is, why is the same project going to cost us so much under the NDC but less costive under the NPP.? Before I proceed with my comments, let me quote the words of Martin Alamisi Burns Kaiser Amidu" May we never get a looter president like John Mahama again".

In 2017,the Auditor General carried out a special Audit assignment into claims submitted to the ministry of finance for payment by road contractors who were awarded contracts under the John Dramani Mahama led administration. At the end of the audit assignment, the A-G disallowed GHC 5.4billion that was going to enter wrong pockets through those fictitious claims presented to the ministry of finance. Between the two political parties, one would come into terms that, indeed when it comes to protecting the public purse, the NDC cannot match the NPP.

The formular for NDC's corruption was defined by Justice Jones Dotse(JSC) as "CREATE,LOOT AND SHARE" in his opinion with respect to the woyome scandal which is the bigget scandal to have ever hit this country from the colonial days till now. Under the NDC, Ghana was turned into a milking cow to the extent that,no single contract under the NDC didnt suffer "INFLATION" that was an avenue to "STEAL" from the good people of Ghana. If not paying dubious and fraudulent debts, then definitely it is the case of " inflating government contract price". NDC paid serious attention to infrastructure because that was the only enabling avenue which facilitated their unconstitutional loots of the public purse. Just look at how the Republic of Ghana was raped under the following, SADA,GYEEDA,SUBAH,AMERI,ASONGTABA, FUMIGATION DEAL etc.

Why do you think John Mahama will be put under criminal investigation by former president Mills after he led a delegation team to procure jets from Brazil?. After the sudden demise of Prof.Mills, Upon assumption into office ,John Dramani Mahama dissolved the committee and the chairman of that committee was picked as a national security advisor. Have we forgotten the alleged diversion of €13M to private pockets meant for the development of western Region by the E.O group of company?. The alleged diversion according to Martin Alamisi Burns kaiser Amidu was done by John Mahama when he was the vice president.

If we had retained the NDC government in 2016, what it means is that, the Republic of Ghana was going to cough a substantial amount of $4.6billion for the execution of the mobile money interoperability project. If you compare the amount spent on the project by the NPP government and what we were going to pay under the NDC government, the difference alone can put up altera modern hospital in all the ten regions we have in Ghana. The difference can also fund free shs for eight good years. Who ever describes John Mahama as a fraudster and a looter on this project alone will not be far from correct because the things are glaring.

In the entire eight years of the NDC, no single social intervention policy was executed and that should tell you and I that, if a party calls itself a social Democrat, and cannot boast of a single social intervention policy with the tendency of bringing relieve to its people, then definitely,that party ought not to be given any chance again. That party doesnt deserve the mandate of the good people of Ghana. Apart from thievery and looting of the public purse, the NDC has nothing better to offer the good people of Ghana.

The Mantra that,"it cannot be done,it is not possible" which is the favorite mantra of the NDC is enough evidence to show that, NDC is a hopeless and a "visionless" party. The NDC lost its political ideologies the very moment, J.J Rawlings became a former president. The probity and accountability which gave birth to the NDC was thrown to the dogs under the auspices of John Mahama and late prof.Mills. A day is coming that, a former president will stand criminal trial in this country. This will be very historic and very soon,we shall see it. The successful implementation Of the free shs By this government shows that free shs was Possible and could have been implemeted under the NDC if they had the good people of Ghana at heart. Meanwhile they lied to Ghanaians that it wasnt possible because what they prefer is plundering of the public purse and not things that gives relieve to people.
