The 2018 NPP National Executives Elections And Matters Arising: Is The NPP And Akufo-Addo Plotting A Secret Agenda To Promote Homosexuality In Ghana?

The raging debate about whether or not Ghana will amend its laws to recognize obnoxious gay rights has gained currency recently as a result of the President’s interview on an international network, coupled with the assertion by the UK Prime Minister that her country will help Ghana to remove anti-gay laws from its books.

While supporters of the President insist that he is against the practice of homosexuality, it appears that the NPP as a political tradition has a soft spot for gay rights and intends to demonstrate that position to the international community by allowing persons who are openly gay to occupy sensitive positions in the party.

Matters arising from the upcoming NPP National Executives elections, based on hardcore evidence and incontrovertible facts, reveal that one female aspirants vying to occupy a position among the top echelons of the party is a very popular lesbian! For the avoidance of doubt, this female in question operates a shop around Lapaz, in the Okaikoi Central Constituency in the Greater Accra Region.

What is even more worrying is that this woman, who is a celebrated lesbian, has serious connections with the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) international community who have been lobbying President Akufo-Addo behind the scenes to have gay rights recognized in Ghana. The sad truth of the matter is that many high ranking members of the NPP are very much aware of the lesbian status and activities of this female aspirant both locally and internationally.

One wonders why a party that is visibly struggling to disabuse the minds of Ghanaians that it does not intend to legalize homosexuality under its regime, is secretly planning to elect a known lesbian into its fold at a time gays and lesbians are actively campaigning to have their abhorrent rights legally recognized. Is this a mere coincidence or there is more to this agenda than we can all see?

In the recent past, having been confronted with the question about whether or not Ghana will legalize homosexuality, former President Kufour, Atta-Mills and Mahama have all given definite responses – an emphatic NO! In the case of President Akufo-Addo, his responses rather seem to suggest that gay rights will be recognized in Ghana sooner or later. Our Ghanaian culture and values stand perpetually opposed to homosexuality and lesbianism and our leaders must be seen working hard to ensure that young innocent persons do not get hoodwinked into such abominable acts.

Persons engaged in acts of lesbianism are known to be very persistent in recruiting and converting other ladies into their fold, especially when they are in positions of power and authority. With such a situation on our hands, one can only be worried about the future of many budding young women within the NPP who will work with this female aspirant if she gets elected as a national executive of the party.

While many NPP members may be unaware, it appears that President Akufo-Addo and the NPP leadership are gradually sending a clear signal to the international community of their willingness to accept homosexuality in our country. Gradually, the blocks are being laid to enable the NPP to push through their secret plan.

This is not conjecture or propaganda and for those who will chose to respond with insults and attacks be rest assured that I will not hesitate to publicly disclose the name and identity of this NPP female aspirant if I am dared to.

In the mean time, the question still remains unanswered: will the NPP elect a well-known and celebrated lesbian and LGBT activist into its national executive fold? Your guess is as good as mine!
