Photos: John Dumelo Weds Mawunya

Ghanaian actor John Dumelo has tied the knot with his girlfriend, Gifty Mawunya Nkornu at a private ceremony.

The event, which was limited to a few friends and family of the couple was held at Spintex in Accra.

While the relationship between the two had been kept out of the focus of the media, the wedding was not held without controversy especially on social media.

Reports said John Dumelo had jilted his known girlfriend of 5 years only to get married to Gifty, who he reportedly have been dating for about 2 years.

Gifty is a graduate of the University of Ghana.
Some celebrities seen at the wedding include actor Prince David Osei, Fiifi Coleman and Yvonne Nelson. Other celebrities who graced the occasion include Edem, Nadia Buari and Coded.
