Otchere-Darko Is a Bastard But Not Incurably Stupid--Part 2

Otchere-Darko Is a Bastard But Not Incurably Stupid--Part 2
05.05.2018 LISTEN

Yes, his kinsman may be substantive President of the Democratic Republic of Ghana, but as far as I have been able to ascertain with my own critical-thinking faculties and studious observations, Mr. Gabriel Asare Otchere-Darko was long ago bought and paid for by some operatives of the present main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC). For example, when Mr. Michael Dokosi, of The Daily Post, vitriolically castigated then-Candidate Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as a “certified drug addict,” others have also been alleged to have made a similar accusation, including Mr. Kwesi Pratt, Jr., who did not deserve to be elected President of Ghana and I vehemently riposted that the blood-sucking Trokosi Nationalist needed to be promptly held accountable by any necessary commensurate means, Mr. Otchere-Darko, then Director of the Danquah Institute, hurriedly dispatched to me an Electronic-Mail (E-mail) in which he imperiously presumed to lecture me about how Mr. Dokosi was “a longtime Akufo-Addo critic” and, therefore, implicitly, reserved the inalienable fundamental statutory right to castigate Nana Akufo-Addo in whatever way that Mr. Dokosi so decided, without any “unwarranted” interference from me. (I swear by the 20-year-old casket of my late mother!).

Mr. Otchere-Darko would also patronize me by letting it be known to me how ethereally privileged it was for me to have my name associated with the personality behind the name of Danquah Institute (DI). He would shortly have my name removed from the list of the Board Members of the DI, on the rather bizarre grounds that I was both rhetorically intemperate and ideologically headed in a direction in which the Danquah Institute did not want to have any part of. Well, I have already said this before, but I still feel compelled to hereby pointedly put it on permanent record, at least for the benefit of posterity, that I never personally applied to be named a Board Member of the Danquah Institute. Rather, it was The Okyenhene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori-Panyin, II, who recommended me to Mr. Otchere-Darko. The first foretaste of Mr. Otchere-Darko’s overweening pride and streak of insufferable arrogance came off to me, when the latter was asked by The Okyenhene to momentarily expect my phone call; but he would not pick up the same until the fifth or sixth time, with Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori-Panyin, II, beside himself with utter consternation on the other line.

The second streak of arrogance and condescension was evinced by the fact that Mr. Otchere-Darko would afford me the shortest biographical note among the membership of the DI’s Board, although as one who has been listed in Who’s Who in America, and other biographical compendiums, for more than two decades, I had presented Mr. Otchere-Darko with quite a decent chunk of biographical background on myself. Was this another way of telling me that I did not belong? It was crystal clear to me that if Nana Akufo-Addo was to ever be voted President of Ghana, it would have to be in spite of Mr. Gabriel Asare Otchere-Darko, and not because of the latter, his stentorian pretense to being, arguably, the most radical supporter of the then-Candidate Akufo-Addo, especially in the form of those bogus opinion polls he claimed to have periodically conducted, which actually exacerbated the political fortunes of Candidate Akufo-Addo, because it was essentially reflective of the figment of the hallucinatory imagination of the pollster, rather than the empirical evidence or the practical reality on the ground.

At any rate, if His Majesty, The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei-Tutu, II, has categorically named Mr. Gabriel Asare Otchere-Darko and Nana Asante-Bediatuo, the Executive-Secretary to President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, as two Jubilee House’s operatives who have been deliberately and systematically engaged in a “secret” campaign to undermine his image and reputation, to the damnable extent of even pitting Akyems against the Asantehene, who, by the way, is our kinsman and in-law, you can surely bet your proverbial bottom-dollar that such sinister report was manufactured, hook, line and sinker by a Jubilee House’s insider and a veritable Asante Supremacist, and a factional mole, in fact, who may very well have been planted therein and contracted for the purpose. Indeed, I hinted about the same several weeks ago, when the alleged attempt to have Mr. Peter Abum-Sarkodie, then-Acting Executive-Director of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), came to my attention via a banner-headline news report originated by Mr. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.

Mr. Abum-Sarkodie has since been sacked per a published memorandum, reportedly signed by Nana Asante-Bediatuo. Do these puzzle pieces look familiar?
