You Must Be the Nation’s Devil Not to Support NABCO

You Must Be the Nations Devil Not to Support NABCO
03.05.2018 LISTEN

May 1, 2018, must have come with a different flavour. Of course it did not come with a Shatta Wale or Samini tang, but one rather more explicitly representative of the love that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has for Ghanaians; more like a Quame Eugene type of “Angela” tune, very thoughtful and filled with roses. It is a workable address to a national concern of “JOBS”. But what have the detractors got to say?

Hmm, as intolerant as they can ever be, they forwarded a disrespectful goon, this time not the malicious baby with sharp teeth, not the treasonable Mahama Ayariga, not the husky empty barrel, Kokoon Anyidoho…no, no, not at all. They pushed a loud mouth, who is gradually taking the position of the above mentioned to become the outrageously backfiring expert in nonsense and hoodlumism, Alhassan Suhyini.

For those who do not know much about this person, it is said that he was once a paid teacher, who barely took home half of the amount offered to those to be employed under NABCO. He also, of course as alleged, after taking a salary for so long to teach his students the art of idiocracy, a true reflection of himself, he hopped on to Radio Gold to become a nauseating voice that told the most heinous lies and absurd stories, most often twisted and false. Do not forget Radio Gold is NDC. Suhyini must have gotten his training in spinning propaganda there to become much better than the Bolsheviks of Russia or the PRO of Marie Antoinette and her husband King Louis XVI.

We can only tell Ghanaians that those who really want to make use of the opportunity to seek employment and a decent living should sign up for the NABCO initiative. Surprisingly, a group of young and jobless graduates in the NDC threatened to disown their party if the hierarchy kicked against this Godly NABCO initiative. At least, for once in a very long time, the NHIS is working in spite of the imminent collapse it faced under the incompetent NDC, so they have no issues with health care. The cash and carry system that creeped back into the system under the galamseyer, John Mahama, has been forced to withdraw due to the very competent work of Nana Akufo-Addo. Electricity tariffs have reduced drastically and will be reviewed downwards further. Due to the current food security we are enjoying in Ghana, prices have seen a downward slide. Of course, every now and then there are fluctuations due to natural phenomena and others, but food is relatively more affordable.

GHs700 (Cedis) can help put food on the table. Some teachers earn much less than that. Some new lawyers earn less and hop off trotros as they shuffle between law offices and courts. Some foremen earn less; professional masons, plumbers, painters, etc earn less or just about this much. Even akpeteshie sellers who have many NDC booze men and women patrons hardly make this much. So roll up your sleeves and get to work to #MakeGhanaGreatAgain. Be inspired by the Rwanda story; be convinced by the Ivory Coast tale of success; be humbled by the many wars and hunger that are rampant everywhere around us, and realise that we have a compassionate President in the name of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who will continue to work for the nation as he always did throughout his life. He has come up with this NABCO initiative, and I know, trust me I do, that he has many more similar initiatives that he will unveil, as and when nigh.

If you sit and be choosy, you will never be able to make an impact on your life and that of the many who depend on you. Mind you, the nation depends on each one of us to carry the day. Who do you want to put food on your table? The Chinese? The Americans? The Europeans? No! You ought to imbibe the reality of our new circumstance, #AGhanaBeyondAide. We create our own jobs; work our own jobs; get paid for our own jobs; and no matter how little, the first humble steps are the most powerful. Just like a potential footballer is always looking for his break, he plays for free, and takes all the nonsense from worthless coaches and agents (as the NDC naysayers), all that in the hope of getting his break. Yet he survives better than his peers who are behind also searching for an opportunity. When this footballer gets his break, he forces and wins depending on how impressive his show is. Forgive me, I am not an avid football fan, but at least I hear their stories from reliable sources. Look at baby jet, Asamoah Gyan, Michael Essien, Sule Muntari, and the many other Ghanaian players and name makers. They all had their break, and it was a slim opportunity with little. Today they have it all!

The import from my statement is quite simple:

DO NOT LET THE OPPORTUNITY SLIP THROUGH YOUR FINGERS AND PASS YOU BY. YOU JUST CAN’T TELL WHEN YOUR BREAK WILL COME THROUGH THIS NABCO INITIATIVE.
