Alhaji Sulley Oubda Issa has been installed the new Seriki for Moeshie, Abeka community in the Greater Accra region.

The installation ceremony took place at the Abeka Mantse Palace on Saturday 28th April 2018 amid colourful celebrations.

The event brought together top Zongo chiefs, the National Chief Imam among others to grace the occasion.

According to the Zongo chief of Abeka, Nii Abantu Boi II, The people of Moeshie in Abeka, hope for equity and fairness in the discharge of their new leader's core duties.

"The major qualities of leadership include being strong and firm but not rude, being kind, but not weak, being bold, but not bullish, being thoughtful but not lazy," the Abeka Chief told his colleague chief.

He also urged him to "keep in mind that, the first responsibility of a leader is to define reality.

On his part, the new Chief, Alhaji Sulley Oubda Issa welcomed his installation as the new SERIKI, adding that his target is to transform Moeshie, Abeka and its surrounding areas through active involvement of the youth.

"I will also make sure that all unemployed youth in the area get something to do in order to minimize crime rate in the community," he assured.

He further stated that the president, Nana Addo should also support the youth in terms of employment in the country.

Some of the youth who spoke to the media indicated that they are expecting a lot from the new SERIKI and the others to unite bring development amid a united and prosperous Abeka.
