GHABOA to offer quality service to the public

Elmina (C/R) Aug. 29 GNA - The Ghana Bar Operators Association (GHABOA) has put in place measures to promote the business and also to offer quality services to the public.
Among the measures the Association has drawn up were relevant capacity building training programmes for members and the need to ensure honesty, quality services to customers and clean surroundings at all times.
The new Chairman of the Association, Mr. Vincent Quaicoe said this at the inauguration of the Central Regional branch of the Association at Elmina on Saturday under the theme, "Peace and Progress". Mr. Quaicoe advised members of the association to bury their past differences and cooperate with the new executives to help move the Association forward.
He advised members that while paying their dues to the association, they should equally honour their tax obligation to the government for the development of the country.
Mr. Joseph Roland Quainoo, National Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Association, announced at the inauguration that a Credit Union had established by the association and urged members to join it to enable them access financial assistance.
He appealed to district assemblies in the region to come to the aid of the association when the need arises and promised that such financial assistance, when given to members would be judiciously utilized. Mr. Emmanuel Obobiasah, Managing Director of Palm Hotel, a patron to the Somanya branch of GHABOA, who chaired the function urged members to ensure high environmental cleanliness to attract more customers to their ventures.
Among those present was Mr. Francis Ewool, Central Regional Representative of Guinness Ghana Brewery Group.
