WordDigest: When Things Turned Around(17) Esther Intervened For Her People

" On that day King Ahasuerus gave Queen Esther the house of Haman, the enemy of the Jews. And Mordecai came before the king, for Esther had told how he was related to her. So the king took off his signet ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it to Mordecai; and Esther appointed Mordecai over the house of Haman."

[Esther 8:1-2] NKJV
Enemies exist for several reasons that we can think of.

One of the reasons is fighting against anything good.

So it was in the case of Esther and her people (Jews).

Haman hated Esther's people to the point of destroying all of them if a chance had presented it self.

But Esther, as a Queen went to the King and intervened for her people.

When things turned around, Esther did not only instructed her people to fast but intervened as well through fasting and prayers to save her people from Haman's plot of destruction.

Indeed her people were saved.
Today, intervene for someone in prayer or kindness to save a life.

As you do, may God cause people to intervene on your behalf in Jesus' name, Amen.

Be an intervener or intercessor!
