And There Are the Political Idiots: Franklin Cudjoe Are You One?

Sometimes, it, really, is not a mysterious phenomenon of a rare psychotic disorder, aptly described by my good friend and brother (name withheld for now) as “Infra dig”, but rather a matter of mental dysfunction; or, to be more charitable, let’s call it cognitive idiocracy. Franklin Cudjoe, the head of a rather not too thoughtful think tank, thinks he has the God-given right to speak to any issue irrespective of his understanding or not of the subject matter. This unfortunate mentality can be attributed to a hardened ego that would not go limp until it sodomises the nation.

Someone, who can shamelessly attack the mothers of our nation, including his very own, by saying that their private parts were overused and smelly, is hardly sensible to be taken seriously in the first place. The audacity to carry out his attack on women was described as “unmitigated gall”. Blogger Malaka Grant described his gutter utterance as “crass, obtuse, gross, sordid, and repulsive” while the lovely Lydia Forson simplified his double barrel nose and gap between his teeth that can accommodate the Circle Highway as “the new face of perversion.” This is just a reminder of how lowly this overrated person is.

His effusions and wayward analysis about the Ghanaian situation, which his boy-friend John Mahama bequeathed the new administration of the NPP, have been shambolic and of NDC relevance. In fact, he does not see or want to see the good in all the policies, interventions, and fiscal discipline that President Nana Akufo-Addo has brought to the nation. It is a sad reality that destroyers like his NDC took the shortest possible time to rampage the system and destroy what was painstakingly achieved over eight years of the Kufuor administration between 2001 and 2009, but that did not even cause him to blink an eye.

He was always on radio and TV trying to play big shot when the “o” should rather be an “I”. What more irenism did he want the President to show when he replied the insults of the NDC hooligans in the UK with smiles and the hand wave of a real father? He failed to notice that John Mahama had fielded those minacious detractors to troll Nana Akufo-Addo out of sheer vindictiveness and hatred. Sadly they were just an embarrassing few whose tales were told in the few minutes that their so-called demo held.

Franklin Cudjoe would help governance in a better way, say “objectivity” and kind language. But where there is a concerted effort to exhibit crass desire for flak, he will be taken on like the misbehaved school boy that he seems never to have grown out of. You see, some people formed think tanks to become rich. They receive donations from enchanted sides who do not actually see the true faces under the masks. Some others use their think tank NGOs as conduits for money laundering. Rich donors circumvent tax by giving large chunks of their money to the thoughtless think tanks against a percentage. That way the money is recycled and cleansed.

So not all that glitters is gold.
It is for this reason supposed think tanks must be reassessed and their credibility reweighed. Ghana has some idiots who speak to national issues without making an iota of sense. Lately, Franklin Cudjoe seems to be the charitable “Arabian Prince” gone haywire! Let him be put on notice that we have stories to tell, and they can only be told with a Franklin Cudjoe element at center stage.

He is on an agenda to fight the John Mahama fight hoping that the NDC will return to Power. He disregards the fact that seven hundred employees at the Presidency were officially hired by his nation wrecking counterpart, John Mahama. Did he want President Nana Akufo-Addo to fire them? Well, I love the idea, actually; it tickles me! Franklin Cudjoe failed to realise that NDC thieves under John Mahama were taking double salaries that could have paid for over two thousand employees at the Presidency. Apparently, for him it is not a crime as such for NDC MPs and others to take double and triple salaries, but it is a crime to have that many number of workers at the Presidency, most of whom were hired by his party, the NDC.

At this juncture, let me call on the relevant authorities at the Jubilee House to ensure that the NDC louts are sacked from the Presidency or transferred to Mole to care for the wild life there, and Salaga to man the market square and keep orderliness amongst the sheep and goats on colourful display. Maybe, Franklin Cudjoe would be better placed to also baa like the constipated sheep at the village dump. Meh, that might even embarrass the poor folks there!
