The Worldly 'Christian'

I quite remember when the disciples of Christ were called Christians at Antioch because of their way of life.

Oops, my bad manners, it seems you just woke up or you're now going back to bed, either way, your time zone determines, Good morning and a good night respectively to you all.

Now, where was I? Ah, so the first time the disciples were called Christians brought our way of life to life and now if you're called a Christian, you embody a beautiful light.

The question now is, how does a light become worldly? I'm still pondering; maybe I should use "call a friend" in this who wants to know in this quest?

Happily, I have one friend who would answer me everytime! The Lord Jesus. This can be contradictory since I'm at a lost to how the world could cave in a christian!

Okay Okay, enough of my lost state. Let me tell you a story, one I've made up, just maybe its a true story but we need not know that.

Here he was, very energetic, he's like on speed dial, always there when there's a program, but guess he wasn't doing all with the Holy Spirit. Maybe he was part of those Jewish men who overlooked the Grecian widows, but the solution made us aware they lacked love.

If my memory serves me right, Christians are called out and be separate. Or just strongly, that they are in the world, but not of this world. We have a godly heritage. So then, how did he love the world that much?

Sadly, he cared more of it than his Heavenly Father. Don't be over-righteous he use to quote. But I try to also remind him not to be a fool?

You see, the bible always speaks on both sides. His love and his "don't be over righteous" pulled him from the palace of "christian walk", to the "mud".

'Mhern' did the pigs love their new companion. He indulged in all form of vices, even that which a person of the world cringed at.

Alcohol, he uses to brush his teeth.
He just has lost sight and touch of his heritage.
What might have caused that?
Maybe like Peter on water, he looked around, like Jonah he thought otherwise, or maybe like Sambalat and Tobias, he just felt like playing the villain role.

Ah well, he went deep deep down. You see, the world and it's pleasures will fade away, but he who does the will of the Father will stand forever.

I know you like what their doing, my friend did, but the end is destruction. He was a christian, but became worldly, so he got the name, "the worldly christian". What a blend, a wrong and unfortunate one as such.

Don't worry if you're like my friend, the word says, "Do not be conformed any longer to the patterns of this world".

The world christian had a worldly destruction. Be wise
