WordDigest: When Things Turned Around (10) Mephibosheth Met Hisdivine Helper

"Now when Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, had come to David, he fell on his face and prostrated himself. Then David said, “Mephibosheth?” And he answered, “Here is your servant!” So David said to him, “Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually.”

[2 Samuel 9:6-7]
Being the son of Jonathan and grand son of King Saul of Israel, it was clear he could have ascended the throne all things being equal.

Unfortunately, that dream was truncated by a misfortune.

When the tables turned as result of war, Mephibosheth strapped at the back of his nanny, fell and became crippled at age five.

He could not enjoy the privileges he did as the grand son of Saul.

On one breath, Mephibosheth was disabled and devalued.

But when things turned around God touched David's heart to be a blessing to Mephibosheth .

Adding to that his entitlements were restored.
Until you encounter a divine helper, your world would be incomplete.

Continue pressing on in life with the right fortitude for your divine helper awaits you.

In the next few days, you shall meet your divine helper, Amen.

You are blessed beyond measure.
I am blessed beyond measure in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
