Young Automobile West Africa Fetes 1,500 Street Children

The Manifest Family in collaboration with Young Automobile West Africa with support from the Meridian Ghana Conference and SGUC Youth Department of the Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA) has organized meals on wheels for street children in Accra.

The event which took place last Saturday started from the Accra mall to Madina Zongo Junction in Accra.

According to the organizers, the project was organized to share the gospel of Christ and further feed the street children.

The event was also in commemoration of the Global Youth Day which is held annually across the globe by the SDA Church.

The estimated cost of the event was Ghana cedis 50,000 and was sponsored by Champion Dishes, Service MART/ Mevkids Care, SHAD Graphic, This is the gospel (tig) and DUGIX foundation.

The Manager of the Manifest Family, Jason Amo Gyimah, had this to share:

"God reminds us to be good and share hishlove for it is such sacrifices that God is well pleased. Christ has called us to love one another and be each other's keeper and in doing so, we have decided to share food and water to put smiles on the face of our brothers and sisters on the street".

Jason Amo Gyimah told journalists that the program was to extend a helping hand to street children by providing food and water for them

He continued with advice that the youth in the country should have the fear of God in them and should not involve themselves in armed robbery but rather work hard and listen to the word of God

Jason Amo Gyimah urged the public and other organizations to extend a helping hand to the needy.

On his part, the Chief Executive Officer of Young Automobile West Africa, Michael Obeng Asa, called on other groups to get involved in projects like these program to offer some hope to the less privileged in the society.
