A 93-year-old woman was in the early hours of Wednesday found dead tied in her bedroom at her Teshie-Nungua residence.
Police sources at Teshie suspects that Madam Jane Anancy a hotelier died from suffocation as her entire body was tied from her face down to her feet to avoid her raising an alarm to attract her neighbours.
Her co-victim a 30 year old employee who was also tied in the same way however survived the ordeal and has since been discharged from the hospital.
According to sources Madam Jane was attacked around 0100hours, when she was approached by some people posing as guests.
Police are yet to identify what items have gone missing from the ransacked premises.
They are trying to reach the family to unravel the mystery.
