GSE loses ground again

Accra, Aug. 12, GNA - The Accra bourse lost ground again in trading on Friday with the GSE-All Share Index, the main market indicator, declining by 5.53 points.

The index ended trading at 4,846.41 points from Thursday's 4,851.94 points.

Change for the year-to-date now stands at -28.71 per cent. There were three price changes - two up and one down.

CAL Bank lost 100 cedis at 2,100 cedis, Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited was two cedis better at 6,008 cedis while SG-SSB gained four cedis at 7,810 cedis.

Shares that changed hands rose to 564,800 from 130,700 at the previous trading.

Market capitalisation was down at 92,013.67 billion cedis from 92,028.28 billion cedis.
