Some Prophecies Are Baseless--Bohye Prayer Camp
28.02.2018 LISTEN

The Founder of Bohye Prayer Camp and CEO of Bohye Multimedia in Ashanti Region, Elder Bismark Amoah, has condemned some prophecies that were biblically baseless trending in the country.

He wondered why nowadays people chased prophecies adding that it seems prophecies have become fashion of the day.

According to him, a true prophecy is based on biblical principles.

He has urged Ghanaians to treat all prophecies emanating from the death of Ebony as complete falsehood.

This emerged after the man of God paid homage to the Paramount Chief of Agric Nzema, Nana Nkansah Boadu Ayeboafo, and offered him prayers at the celebration of his birthday and 'Akosidie' yesterday.

"Firstly, prophecy must be rebuked. The story of David in the Bible is a critical example; when he sinned against God by committing fornication and murder, God through Prophet Nathan rebuked him. Secondly, prophecy must be made to comfort us," the respected man of God stated.

Elder Bismark Amoah explained that when Elisha was threatened by Queen Jezebel and had become discouraged, God through prophecies comforted him, that he was with him.

"Lastly, prophecy is a form of advice. It should advise people from sins and any wrong doing."

Elder Bismark Amoah further indicated clearly that any death prophecy should be treated as a false prophecy because it has no bibilical basis.

"These fake prophecies are only seeking to make those pastors popular and nothing short of that."
