Ghana will soon experience a supernatural turn around in its economic fortunes and all notable sectors if the clergy, including all believers, will watch and pray for the nation.

He noted that lack of committed prayer activities would further deepen the woes of the country and hinder development.

"It is time government together with religious organizations set a special prayer day which will be a holiday to pray for the nation".

Perez Chapel's Bishop D.C Ayarewaba Head of the Northern Sector, Ashanti and Brong Ahafo, made these remarks in an interview with ModernGhana.

"Not everyone can pay tax, contribute materially, or will have access to make suggestions into governance, but all have equal power and authority to contribute spiritually into governance through our supportive prayers".

The branch of the church, the Cathedral Of Solution located at KWADASO in Kumasi has set 6th March as an "Independence Day Fasting and Prayerfest" to intercede for the nation.

The one-day fasting and prayer intercession dubbed "Ghana will not fail" from Genesis 12:25 is set to intercede for the nation to attained God intended glorious state.

He revealed ahead of the program that God has hinted that "it is the only through prayer that we can drive the nation towards the desired destination.

According to him, Ghana is a 'Godly Nation' but things can work if only the citizens would devote time to pray and intercede for the country as well as living selfless lives.

He said prayer is one workable tool everyone could use to contribute his quota into development of the dear country

Bishop D.C noted that "prayer intercession for the country has been left in the hands of some selected groups of believers, but if all will join with one accord heaven will kiss the nation".

He extended a special invitation to all denominations, groups, NGOs, and individuals to join faith with the church to fervently pray for the nation on 6th March in Kwadaso.
