More Evidence on Hotel Kufuor

Just before the NDC left office, a loan facility of US$1 million had been approved for a company in Ghana. The money however was not disbursed before the change in government. When the NPP took over, it prevailed upon the bank to divert the approved loan facility to West Airport Hospitality Limited, Kufuor's family business to finance the purchase of Hotel Kufuor. Thus the first amount towards the purchase of the hotel was the diverted US$1 million loan from the ECOWAS Bank.
