Eric Opoku honoured as best MP by BORGCA

The Bureau Of Research on Governance and Commerce Administration (BORGCA), a subsidiary of the Confederation Of Governance Assessment (COGAI) Thursday, February 15, 2018 awarded the Member of Parliament (MP) for Asunafo South Constituency of the Brong Ahafo Region, Hon. Eric Opoku, who is also the Ranking Member of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Food and Agricultural as the Best MP for Communal and Rural Development in Ghana.

The award was presented by Professor Victor Yankah, Executive Director General of research BORGCA at the Parliament House of Ghana.

Following this award, The Ternopil State Economic University of Ukraine has agreed to confer an honorary Doctorate Degree on the Awardee on the 10th of May 2018 In Ukraine.

Speaking to the GhanaWeb after the ceremony, Hon. Eric Opoku who was the former Brong Ahafo Regional Minister under erstwhile John Mahama led Administration expressed his profound appreciation to the group and pledged his commitment to work hard to promote rural development in Ghana.

"This award is a big challenge to me to work hard, it came to me as a shock and I never thought what I'm doing people outside watching me, I thank God", he added.
