NPP-USA Should Be Transparent Before It's Too Late

The Acting Chairperson, former chairman, the Acting Treasurer and the Immediate past treasurer should render financial accounts to all members so we know what our monies and dues are being used for, BEFORE CONGRESS. Not DURING OR AFTER. Members must be informed about this information so we know how the current executives have handled our monies.

Last four years when the treasurer during the congress was asked to present the financial statement of the NPP-USA, he failed to do so because the elections was over and till date, NPP-USA members have not seen any financial statements. If we wait till congress to discuss financial statements of the NPP-USA, the election will be over and the cycle will repeat itself. Therefore, I strongly recommend the treasurers and the chairperson of the NPP-USA to render accounts of the following within the next 7 days:

1. All national dues collected and how that money was spent.

2. Monies raised during the 2016 elections and how much of that money was disbursed to the national campaign team and how much was used towards adopted constituencies.

3. What modalities the treasures have used to raise funds for the NPP-USA.
