Coach Duncan invited to attend UEFA Youth Conference

Accra, Aug 5, GNA - Mr David Duncan Ghana's coach of the National Under 17 Team, the Black Starlets, has been nominated by CAF to attend this year's UEFA Youth Conference in Cyprus to kick-start from November 29 to December 1st 2005.

The Conference, which is in the framework of the new formula of the Meridien Partnership between CAF and UEFA, would organise a meeting at which six Coaches and Technical Directors will discuss matters related to Youth football in Africa and Europe together with UEFA representatives.

Mr Kofi Nsiah, General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) said this in a Press Release copied to the GNA Sports in Accra on Friday to announce the nomination of coach Duncan to participate in the Conference.

He said the GFA is therefore congratulating Coach Duncan on his honour and hope that this would serve as an impetus for him to achieve results in the up-coming Under 17 World Championship in Peru. 05 Aug. 05
