Ajumako Mando starts Akwanbo festival


Ajumako (C/R), Aug 04, GNA - The chief and People of Ajumako Mando in the Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam District on Tuesday held a durbar to start their week-long Akwanbo festival. This year's celebration is under the theme "Togetherness in development".

Addressing the durbar Nana Kwesi Oguman II, the chief of the town, appealed to his people to pay their levies for the completion of the day care and the senior secondary school projects. He said 7 million cedis have so far been spent on the 100 million-cedi projects and appealed to the government and non-governmental organisation to assist the people to complete the projects.
