Health Adventist Church provides free medical care to over 3000 residents inTechiman

The Adventist Church together with the Valley View University and its Hospital has provided a free medical care Worth 7 million dollars to over 3000 residents in the Techiman Municipality to acquaint them with good health so as to enable them to worship God as a good health they say is a good wealth

Medical experts, Dentists and eye surgeons were brought from both US and Spain to assist the health experts in the University hospital to provide a well equipped health care to the people

Speaking to Techiman based winners 98.5 FM, the president of mid-north Ghana conference Techiman ,Pastor Doctor Paul Amo Kyeremeh revealed that the intention of the free health care delivery is to reduce unexpected deaths which could have avoided

Meanwhile the medical director for the Valley View Hospital Techiman campus Dr Agyeman said people die as a result of insufficient competent medical experts and equipments needed to provide a successful health care

''We did this to save lives from from diseases that could be cured'' he stressed

He said they decided to help people with the VVU hospital in Techiman been the only paperless transaction in Ghana to eradicate some lifestyle conditions like high blood pressure, joint pains,diabetes, strokes, heart attacks and among others

Dr Agyeman however tasked Ghanaians to be mindful of their food intake

"Food we eat affects our health positively or negatively so know what to eat to increase your life span" he said

Adding that people should be proactive in curing diseases they found in their systems

Moreover Dr Dona Cooper Dockery medial Doctor who doubles as the president of faithful path ministries revealed that the average life expectancy of Ghanaians has reduced drastically to 64 years because of diseases that can be prevented

"I think there is the need for more health care, more Doctors, more Hospitals, more Laboratories so that people can be treated early to expand and enjoy good health and long life" she stated

Dr Dona stressed that there should be a lifestyle modification by everyone by knowing what to eat and what not to eat

She added that regular exercise should be a routine activity adding that "You should clean the Country to prevent filthy related diseases"
