Climbing To The Mountains

"If you stay in a dark room for a very long time, you will only think that there's no light anywhere ". Naturally, when you live in a situation for long you literally become accustomed to it. It takes just a handful of people to realise their situations and decide wholeheartedly to change and find out a better solution.

As a Christian (I'm a born again Christian and not just a Christian as a title. My whole heart is for God now and forever more), I have seen things happen in the lives of people, very very dangerous things but through the special grace of God such afflictions are averted to the Glory of God and great shame to the devil.

If you hear people's stories and the quandaries that are militating their lives progress, you will shudder. No wonder that now many people are running from one church to the other, one prophet to another. We do not want to sit down, read the word of God, if you do not understand you ask someone who can explain to you, believe it and put it into action. We are making some " fake" pastors play with our intelligence and abuse us just because we need help.

I want you to understand that anything that is original has a fake one. There are very anointed, humble and revered men and women of God in country who fear God with every fibre of their lives. So I keep asking myself why people will not search for the right places and attend in order to gain salvation and freedom? Are we that blind? Yes, I agree that there are myriads of herbalists, spiritualists, soothsayers and all the demon incarnates who now wear long white sleeve shirts, with macaroni ties and twenty pesewas suits to deceive people but there are also equally anointed, spirit-filled, humble, speakers of truth, great philanthropists and God minded men and women of God in this country. The good ones are very few and the bad ones are as many as anthills and that is why we need to look at their ways, what they say and what they do.

Last year, I went home for vacation and I arrived home very late, my mother was waiting for me so she decided to be watching television in order to be awake. When I eventually got home, entered the sitting room, I saw my mother watching a particular TV channel(Name witheld) on Multi TV and a so called pastor who I know is not from God was performing his antics and magics. Immediately I saw that, I just did not know what entered me, I dropped my bag, when straight for the remote control and off went the television. I rebuked her a little, educated her on a number of things and then she was convinced. Now she reads the Bible even more than before. She is growing spiritually and I bet you that very soon, if any of those "419" men should come around her she will deliver them quickly. Most of those "419" and "devil ghost" churches are mostly populated by women and children and even now some men are quickly joining. Women Fellowship,Very pathetic!

These women are mostly market women and petty traders who toil day and night but because they need divine help they end up at the wrong places, at the wrong times and these men exploit them gravely. But I don't blame these ignorant women rather I blame their educated sons and daughters who have eyes but can't see clearly, think far and save their mothers. As for me and my household, we shall serve the Lord and attend holy spirited churches not devil ghost churches.

Talking about good churches. Ghana by the grace of God has even though just a few good churches and pastors, they are making great impact here and abroad. Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams is the area commander at Action Chapel International, we have Bishop Charles Agyin Asare at the Perez Chapel International, we have Reverend Eastwood Anaba who is at the Fountain Gate Chapel, we also have Reverend Ampiah Kwofi at the Global Revival Ministries, Reverend Osei Bonsu of MOGPA, we have Bishop Dag-Heward Mills of the LightHouse Chapel International, we have Prophet Kusi Boateng of Powered Chapel Worldwide, Prophet Francis Kwarteng of Divine Prayer Ministry International is present, Prophet Bernard El Bernard Nelson Eshun of SpiritLife Revival Ministries is present, Prophet Atsu Manasseh of Watered Garden Churches, just to mention a few and the list goes on till thine kingdom come. So is it that Ghanaians cannot see these Godly churches with anointed men who fear God with all their life and being? I just wonder because all these churches are in Ghana with branches all over and growing rapidly to the Glory of God.

Let me make you my reader understand something whereas a child of God. Stop sitting at one place for long without results. God is faithful not ungrateful. He says in Matthew 7:7 that, "Ask and it shall be given unto you, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened". This is timeless. No time attached to it. Just do it and receive. Let me share with you just five signs that when you see or hear in your current church you must flee and never come back there again. Run for your life!

Sign 1- The first sign is when in your church the pastor does not read the Bible or share the word with the church. All the pastor, prophet or whatever title does is to perform magics and wonders. The devil is good at that. Please run!

Sign 2- If you are in a church and the pastor there says he's a God and so everything that happens in the church and to the members is credited to him. They carry him on their head and believe in him more than God and our Lord Jesus Christ them my brother or sister you are in the wrong place. Jump the wall and run!

Sign 3- If you are in a church where your pastor even though at a very young age is so lazy to the extent that he has a very big sofa and a mat on his stage or alter and sits frequently rather than stand or walk around and teach God's people. Hmm Beware! God will not good things or precious things to pigs.(....). Jesus Christ the son of God walked in the sun, he worked hard to save us. There are great men of God who are very old yet they still stand and preach. Sister I permit you to leave that church now. Fligh out quickly!

Sign 4- If you are in a church and your pastor gets angry quickly, he insults as though he sells kpakpo shito at Agbogbloshie market without even regretting his actions and you think he is being brave or courageous then I'm sorry to say you are in a market not a church. Please sneak out from the market and go to church.

Sign 5- The final sign is a very very crucial one which every member of every church should hold dear to himself or herself and look out for. If you are in a church but your pastor has never shared with the church how he was called by God, when, how and what God told him, then I'm sorry! Apples don't just grow on pineapples for nothing. If your pastor has never been called to other churches or places to preach the word of God and save souls for God then it simply means his god only operates in his church, he can't move lest he will fall. There is something there! Advice yourself and vacate the premises with expedite effect.

Let me end here for now as I bring you the part two of this article but before then I want to invite you on a prayer trip to Atwea Mountains in Kumasi from 18th January to 21st January 2018. The theme for the program is, "Behold I do a new thing!" (Isaiah 43:19). We have barely two days more.

Come join the Joseph Asikoyaaba Ministries as we embark on this three days prayerfest on the mountains. There is nothing on the mountains but just as Jesus Christ always did by going to the mountains to pray and seek God for strength and power, we are also going to do so and he won't fail us.
