17.01.2018 LISTEN

Bishop Welbeck Tawiah Commey, Leader and General Overseer of Born Again Souls Food Christian Ministries has appealed to Traditional rulers of Greater Accra Region to end all land Chieftaincy disputes and enstool a Paramount Chief for the Region.

He said the installation would encourage government to channel more funds into the construction of more educational and other infrastructural projects.

Bishop Commey who is also the President of Ordained Christian Ministries Association made the call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Sowotoum after his ordination as Bishop at Glory Heaven Ministry off GRA Road, Sowutoum-Accra.

He said 'This is the time that Chieftaincy disputes and land litigations must end in the Greater Accra Region for us to think and rather think of the welfare of school going adults education for the generation by giving them higher education with Bible knowledge which will help them to become good future leaders.'

He said without proper education and fear of God in Bible knowledge, the economic growth of the country would not be achieved as people would be tempted to do the unexpected.

Bishop Commey commended the government for the Free SHS saying it would go a long way to help the poor and needy but brilliant children in the rural areas especially in the coastal areas.

He appealed to the government to maintain the free education and make it accessible to all to enable these poor children to be educated before going into the fishing industry and appealed to parents and guardians to send their school growing children to school.
