A Northern Regional chairman aspirant hopeful of the governing NPP, Alhaji Hindu has advised supporters of various aspirants to be circumspect as they gear towards the regional congress.
Alhaji Hindu, who is the current Northern Regional Organizer of the party said this in a press release copied to ghana360news.com.
His advice came as a result of supporters using unprintable words against each other and the candidates they campaign for on the media. Particularly social media.
According to him, whoever emerges a victor after the congress will need all the losers on board to win the 2020 elections.
“We need to respect all aspirants any time we write. Character defamation, ill languages and open insults should not be part of us as a family. Remember we are one family and we need a very strong and united front to fight a bigger battle come 2020”, he said.

LET DECENCY PREVAIL – ALHAJI ABDALLAH HINDU – NPP NORTHERN REGIONAL CHAIRMAN HOPEFUL ADVISED
Though we all have the right to market and project our preferred candidate (s), but this right does not give us the room to be using harsh words on other candidates. We need to respect all aspirants any time we write. Character defamation, ill languages and open insults should not be part of us as a family. Remember we are one family and we need a very strong and united front to fight a bigger battle come 2020. Let’s put a stop to this unfortunate behaviour. We all need each other after this internal elections. I will need all candidates to support me if I become the victor at the end of the day.
We are one and must continue to be one,before, during and after the elections. Respect is reciprocal. Your utterances give others the chance, whether to respect you and your candidate or to disrespect. Therefore,I urge all my supporters to do a clean and factual campaign and desist from insults and character attacks. United we stand, divided we fall.
