KuYA Salutes Manhyia

The Executives and entire members of Kumasi Youth Association (KuYA) would like to express our joy and profound gratitude to Manhyia Palace,Nananom Asanteman traditional Council, Kumasi Traditional Council for a well organised and display of incomparable rich Asante/Asanteman culture during the final and fare well funeral of the late Asantehemaa Nana Afia Kobi Ampem ll in Kumasi.

Again, KuYA salute the good people of Asante kingdom for exhibiting high level of our usual hospitality to our brothers and sisters who came from far and near to mourn with our Great King during our Queen Mother's funeral which commenced 1st December and ended on 15th December, 2017.

Our Appreciation would never be complete without acknowledging the various Media Outlets who transmitted and reported live our belovered Queen's funeral to the length and Breadth of our Country as well as the world at large.

KuYA would like to express our gratitude to the Youths in Kumasi and Asanteman who availed themselves to mourn with HIS ROYAL MAJESTY OTUMFUO OSEI TUTU during the Ayikese of our late Asantehemaa and also shown greater interest in the rich culture of Asanteman.

Above all, we thank the Almighty God (Otwedeampon Nyankopon) for his mercies and protection before, during and after the Ayikese, Indeed Asante Ahennie 3firi 3suro ampa.
