NLA Introduces '2017 Player Bronya Raffle'

The National Lottery Authority (NLA) on Monday begins its Second Chance Player X'Mas Raffle in Accra, dubbed: '2017 NLA Player Bronya Raffle'.

The raffle is aimed at giving back to loyal patrons of NLA Games and its stakeholders and would give away 600 prizes to successful winners of the raffle, with 150 prizes every week to winners, ranging from Cell Phones, Blenders and Television Sets.

The Promo, which would last for four weeks is available to only people who stake with a minimum of GH¢10.00 of any NLA Product from Monday through to Saturday and with Serial numbers of Non-Winning Tickets of a face value of GH¢10.00 and above would be placed in an 'electronic basket' for a weekly raffle.

It would be on Regional basis, as all tickets from a particular Region would be placed in the 'Electronic Basket' for a Raffle Draw for that particular region only.

Mr George Addo-Yobo, Director of Sales at the NLA, who is in-charge of the Raffle said its objectives was to incentivize loyal patrons of NLA Games to play more of the Authority games, make the X'mas season more exciting and refreshing and to build up and heighten the confidence, integrity and credibility of NLA Games.

He said the Bronya Raffle was subjected to terms and conditions and that the conditions as it was reserved for players over and above the age of 18 years.

NLA staff are not eligible to participate and redemption of prizes should be within 14 days from the date of draw and NLA would not honour prizes for defaced tickets; alterations and handwritten materials.

Mr Addo-Yobo said the NLA periodically organised Raffles or Promos to reward its stakeholders, particularly Lotto Marketing Companies (LMCs), and named the Retailer Incentive Promo, which was drawn in 2013, the NLA Afehyia Pa Promo, Players and patrons of NLA Games and the Lucky Hands Promo drawn in 2014 and 2016 respectively.

He said Serial Numbers of Winning tickets of the NLA Bronya Raffle would be published weekly on Regional basis in Daily Graphic or other newspapers of national circulation.

This he said would enable winners of the Raffle to check their winning tickets and present to any District or Regional offices of NLA with Identification Cards such as Passport, Voters ID Cards, Drivers' License and SSNIT Card for prize redemption.

The National Lottery Authority has remained in business and delivered on its mandate from 1962 to date through the efforts of all stakeholders.

The stakeholders are; Lotto Marking Companies, Players and Patrons of NLA Games/Products, Government as business owner, Partner Banks, Staff, Telecos and the Media.
