WordDigest: Dealing with isolated temptations (5) Feed on the Word

Text: Luke 4:1-13 KJV
After Jesus had been filled with the Holy Spirit from Jordan, the Spirit led Him into a wilderness.

Where the Devil tempted Jesus to worship him.
It may interest you to know that Jesus was tempted trice by the Devil in this chapter.

However Jesus did not fall to schemes of the Devil.

How?
Jesus had the Word in Him and with faith, He professed the Word right in front of the Devil.

Folks, let the Word of God be your weapon for life because it is powerful.

"For the word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two -edge sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrows, and is a discerner or thoughts and intents the heart"

[ Hebrews 4:12] KJV
The penultimate point on the series of dealing with isolated temptations is feeding on the Word of God.

You must have the Word of God on your mind with faith daily if you want to escape any form of isolated temptations.

Until you have the Word of God on your mind, overcoming isolated temptations would be challenging.

Let the Word of God be your weapon daily for life.
