Young Ghanaian Diplomat Wins Silver Angel Award In Dubai

Young Exceptionally Spirited Ghanaian Diplomat, Steven Blessing Ackah, has made history by winning a Silver Angel Award at G200/G20 Youth Forum 2017 in Dubai.

Steven Blessing Akah who Chaired the NEW STRATEGIES FOR FINANCIAL SECTOR AND WORLD ECONOMY COMMITTEE under the Ministers for Economy Delegation at the G200 Youth Forum, was presented with a Silver Angel Award for his constant contribution towards Youth Development.

Silver Angel is a prestigious award, which is given each year to 3 individuals, whose achievements contributed the most to the development of the global community. Mrs. Habiba Al Marashi, the co-founder and chairperson of Emirates Environmental Group, received an award for environmental protection and social responsibility, Ms. Bonnie Chiu, young entrepreneur and founder of a non-profit social enterprise Lensational, was rewarded for Women Empowerment.

Ms. Ksenia Khoruzhnikova, the founder and President Of G200 Association mentioned that each awardee, flying with his or her ideas, is an angel. But all these talented people also need a special Silver Angel to protect and support them.

She congratulated the awardees and wish them new accomplishments and endeavours.

About the G200 Nomination
With unflinching support from H.E. Ambassador Professor Dr. Tal Edgars- Group Executive Chairman GBSH Consult Group, a senior diplomat and a leading Global Influential Strategist and Mrs. Ana Manduley Atarodian, US Based and Co-Founder of UAE- AFRICA MDC, Mr. Ackah was nominated to join the G200 Alumni Association and was extended the role to chair one of the Committees.

The G200 Youth Forum is the largest international event organized for young leaders in 2017, and about 300 young leaders, parliamentarians, students and academics, representatives of the business world, governments and international organizations participated in it.

Mr. Ackah was appointed as G200 Association to Chair, New Strategies for Financial Sector & World Economies with a committee of leaders from China, Germany, India, the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia.

Steven is a youth diplomat, a member of National Election Early Warning and Response Group under the Ghana National Peace Council and cutting-edge strategist with an outstanding record in both social enterprise and profit-making business.

Based on his advocacy on youth employment policies and job bank strategies, he was bestowed the Most Outstanding Personality Service Award 2017 by West Africa Merit award Organization.
