CVM rubbishes story published by NEWSDAY newspaper against NLA boss

Concerned Voters Movement (CVM) has rubbished a news publication published by the NEWSDAY newspaper against the National Lottery Authority (NLA) boss, Mr. Kofi Osei-Ameyaw.

On Thursday December 7, 2017 edition of NEWSDAY newspaper, the paper published a story against the NLA boss on its front page with the caption, "Service Providers Chase NLA Boss Over Non-Payments".

In a rejoinder issued on Thursday December 7, 2017 by the group's President and Founder, Mr. Razak Kojo Opoku, stated that such publication is totally mischievous and fabricated hence urging the general public to disregard the publication and treat it with contempt it deserves.

According to him, "It is just a mischievous publication by the Mafia Cartel at the NLA who are doing everything possible using vulnerable Newspapers to sabotage the good reforms being implemented by Kofi Osei-Ameyaw and the Board of NLA appointed by President Akufo-Addo".

Below is the full rejoinder
*Rejoinder: Service Providers Chase NLA Boss Over Non-Payments----CVM*

CVM attention has been drawn to this publication "Service Providers Chase NLA Boss Over Non-Payments" in the *NEWSDAY* paper, thursday Edition.

With facts and figures available to us there is *NO Truth* to the effect that Service Providers are chasing NLA over Non-Payments. It is just a mischievous publication by the Marfia Cartel at the NLA who are doing everything possible using vulnerable Newspapers to sabotage the good reforms being implemented by Kofi Osei-Ameyaw and the Board of NLA appointed by President Akufo-Addo.

Such reforms by Kofi Osei-Ameyaw and the Board of NLA are uncovering and blocking the loopholes created by the Mafia Cartel at the NLA whose companies are the ones providing Services to the NLA, and these companies are earning more money on monthly basis than the NLA.

Any Service Provider who has not been paid by NLA is having a *questionable claims*.

The doors of NLA from Legal, Accounting, Sales, Marketing & all other Departments are open to the general public for authentic information about the True State of Affairs at the NLA.

President Akufo-Addo's Government is solidly behind Kofi Osei-Ameyaw and the Board of NLA to bring the needed transformations, transparency, innovations and block the Mafia Cartel at the NLA.

The resistance by the Mafia Cartel at the NLA will amount to nothing.
