Today, 1st December, 2017 marks a special and memorable day in the lives of our hardworking , tireless productive farmers as you celebrate your day. You indeed worth celebrating for your indellible contributions towards the development of this great country.
As the convener for the trade's and industry committee of kumasi metropolitan Assembly (KMA) in which Agriculture is part of the committee's work, I will cease this availed opportunity to congratulate all the award winners from the various districts in Ashanti and Regional winners.Better luck next time to those who couldn't win.
I would like to urge all farmers to rally behind our listening government so as to put in measures that will arrest all impediments in the agricultural sector.
As we enjoy this memorable day, I appeal to all farmers in kumasi and Ghana at large not to relent on their efforts but to worker harder to make our nation great and strong.
