The police has arrested Kwaku Agyapong aged 62 who shot and killed his wife Akosua Gyafoh aged 45 at Kwahu Nkwantanang in the Eastern Region.
The Suspect was arrested with a barrel gun.
On Monday 27th November at 7:30 am the deceased wife had a misunderstanding with the husband which ended up in a fearsome fight.
On interrogation the suspect admitted the offense and claimed he acted out of anger ,that his deceased wife have been sneaking out of their matrimonial home and suspected infidelity.
Suspect has five children with his deceased wife, the eldest being 27 years old. Body of deceased has been deposited at Atibie Government hospital morgue awaiting autopsy.
