Africa's largest airline group, Ethiopian Airlines, will bring its newest plane B787-9 tagged the "Big Brother" to Accra Ghana on Friday, November, 10.

The Airline will also introduce its A350 aircraft to the Ghanaian routes from Tuesday, November, 14.

A statement from the Airline copied to the GNA said Accra, Ghana has been on Ethiopian Airlines network, since 1960 and have grown to become a daily flight with the best Aircraft available in Africa.

"Ghana will be receiving two new Aircraft in one week, while the B787-9 will visit on Friday, the A350 will be used for daily flights to Ghana making Accra one of the few stations serviced by the best planes in the world," it added.

It said the B787-9 was part of Ethiopian Airlines commitment to deliver exceptional level of service to the African market by operating the latest technologically advanced aircraft on the market.

The statement said passengers have enjoyed the unique onboard features of this latest technology aircraft such as on-board comfort thanks to their unique features such as the biggest windows in the sky, high ceiling, less noise and distinctive lighting.

It said Ethiopian becomes the first carrier in Africa to operate the 787-9 and extended a tradition of setting aviation milestones.

Ethiopian became Africa's first carrier to fly the 787-8 in 2012, and similarly introduced the 777-200LR (Longer Range), 777-300ER (Extended Range) and 777 Freighter.

It said the 787 Dreamliner was the most innovative and efficient airplane family flying today and since 2011, more than 600 Dreamliners have entered commercial services, flying almost 200 million people on more than 560 unique routes around the world.
