Mrs. Vera Ama Zodanu Jehu-Appiah, the wife of the late Nana Kodjo Jehu-Appiah, in a tribute to her late husband described him as a lovely and caring husband who always provided the needs of the family.

Mrs Joycelyn Zodanu Arthur, a sister of the widow, who read the tribute on her behalf, at the Burial and Memorial Service at the Forecourt of the Ghana International Press Centre, said the husband ensured that the family never lacked anything and there was happiness at all times.

'You always did things to ensure that we were happy-be it gifts or other goodies. You always made sure the family was never sad.

''Husby, as I usually called you over the phone, which you also replied 'Sweetie','Wifee' and'Ngozi'. I will never forget how you used to surprise me by bringing home groceries, you always knew what I have planned to purchase and always a step ahead,' she reminisced.

Mrs Jehu-Appiah recalled the jokes and happy moments they shared together, saying; 'You were not only a caring husband, but also an extraordinary father. A father- not only to our two darlings-Joojo and Afua, but to children you did not even know.'

She recalled the 20 years of their marriage life and the challenges they endured together, which had kept them united and stronger because of the love they shared.

Mrs Jehu-Appiah said: 'It is with a mixed feeling of deep love and pain I write this tribute and the pain caused by your early passing and permanent absence, but God knows why he took you away from us'.

Nana Kodjo Jekrahuda Jehu-Appiah's demise occurred on September 11, 2017 at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after a short illness.

He was 55 years and survived with a wife and two children, Nana Kodjo Jehu-Appiah Junior and Nana Efuah Jehu-Appiah.

The mortal remains of the deceased would be interned at the family cemetery at Mozano in the Central Region.
