Global Hand Washing Day as an annual global advocacy day dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding about the importance of hand washing with soap and clean water offers opportunity for governments, organizations and individuals to design and test creative ways to encourage children and populace to wash their hands with soap and clean water at critical times. This is an easy, effective and affordable way to prevent diseases and save lives.
