The Convener of Ahlu Zikri Centre for Islamic Affairs, Mr Osman Mohammadu Mugib has advised Muslims to eschew untoward social devices and inculcate the life style of prophet Mohammad.

According to him the goldly and well mannered character of the holy prophet necessitated the acceleration of Islam globally with over two billion people accepting the religion of Islam. "He didn't travel outside the Arebia country, but his teachings now has no bound, he is able to influence majority in the world due to his social life and human relation, so I believe if Muslims of today replicate the prophet life style there will be progress in every society."

Addressing some Islamic scholars and Muslims faiths at the 4th annual celebration of the prophet birth( Mawlid) in tamale, dubbed Ghana@60: The role of Muslims in the liberation of African: A case study of Sheikh Ibrahim Ayass and Independence of Ghana. Mr Mohammadu Mugib said celebrating and learning how such personality succeeded is extremely important in the empowerment of Muslims politically, economic, social and other equal significant things in the world.

Mr Mohammadu Mugib said the celebration of the prophet birth aims at promoting the through image of Islam, and further explain the core principals the prophet stood for during his life time, adding that the Ahlul Zikri centre for Islamic affairs as part of their responsibilities had carryout series of lectures which are of immense benefit to the socioeconomic of the country.

He revealed that Sheikh Ibrahim Anyass who happens to be a close associate to Dr Kwame Nkrumah played a crucial role in the liberation of mother Ghana independence. According to him Sheikh Ibrahim Anyass was an Pan-Africanist who spiritually and intellectual helped Dr Kwame Nkrumah against the colonial Masters.

Mr Mugib argued that Dr Kwame Nkrumah following the failure of several past senior citizens to liberate Ghana from the colonial rule wouldn't had succeeded without the involvement of Sheikh Ibrahim Anyass who manifested from the linage of prophet Mohammad.

According to him the spiritual leader was a clear representation of the holy prophet due to his fair judgment, knowledge, forgiveness, care and living in peace and harmony with other religious faiths.

Mr Mugeem said Sheikh Ibrahim Ayass during his time encouraged girls child education, which by then wasn't accepted by scores of intellectuals.

He therefore urged the various religious faiths in the country to love one another and promote peace and cordial relation, this according to him was the life style of the prophet and Sheikh Ibrahim.

He seized the opportunity of the occasion, and appealed to historians and writers in Ghana to acknowledge the efforts of personality like Sheikh Ibrahim Anyass, whom according to him lift the shores of his mother land (Senegal) to Ghana to facilitate the independence of Ghana and other nearby Africa countries.

Mr Mugib however enumerated that Ahlul Zikri Centre for Islamic Affairs is an institute of Muslim youth formed by the adherent of the Tijaniya ideology (Sufi) in order to come out with contemporary programmes which include economic and social topics to help in the educate people at the hinterlands, and further educate the Muslim masses the actual teaching of Islam and the tradition of the prophet.
