It was with a big shock and bewilderment when I saw yet another gas explosion related incident trending on social media last Saturday at Atomic Junction (Legon-Accra).
This is clearly an unfortunate incident which has yet again struck the country with grief.
My deepest condolences to all the bereaved families and wishing a speedy recovery to all those who were caught up in the unfortunate gas explosion.
Indeed, this is a catastrophe and measures must be put in place to avert such another occurrence of this magnitude. No need for those past rhetorics of enforcing laws or taking action when disasters of this nature occurs.
I therefore pledge my uttermost support to the government in respect to any measures tabled down to mitigate the improper management and complete disregard of safety rules by gas companies which as a result is causing loss of lives, and destructions which is putting further financial burden on the state.
It's my fervent prayer that, this should never happen again.
God bless our homeland Ghana and make us strong in times like this.
