About three months ago, Mr. Atsu Musah, 35, the driver who could not trace the ignition key reported the loss to the owners, the Winneba branch of GPRTU, and was given a duplicate key. After close of work on May 31, 2005, the driver parked the vehicle at the usual parking place and left.

On June 1, at about 0400 hours in the morning the driver came back and realised that the vehicle was not there. He quickly reported to the Winneba Police who sent out information on messages that led to the arrest of the accused, Quainoo, at Assin Fosu at 0900 hours in the morning.

When the Ghana News Agency (GNA) contacted Winneba Police, Chief Inspector William Kwame Akannah confirmed the story and said Quainoo would appear in court on Tuesday June 7.
