Stock Index in marginal gain

Accra, June 1, GNA - The benchmark GSE All-Share Index inched up 2.59 points on Wednesday on the strength of gains by CFAO and Camelot. The index went up to close at 6,052.62 points after it remained static at 6,050.03 points for four successive trading sessions. Change for the year to date now stands at -10.97 per cent. There were two price changes. CFAO gained 30 cedis at 350 cedis and Camelot went up by 20 cedis at 1,600 cedis.

Market capitalisation rose marginally at 95,055.99 billion cedis compared to 95,049.14 billion cedis at the previous close. Traded volumes sank to 127,000 as against 513,700 on Monday.
