This world: Second class Nations

Dr. Edward Mahama, Flagbarer of the PNC in 2016 General Election, has been made Ambassador in Large by Prez. Akufo-Addo in which consequence the General Secretary of the Party was dismissed from his post on 22.07.2017. Mahama proclaims he will perform his duties not for the NPP but for Ghana as a Nation. Gerhard Schroeder (SPD), former German Chancellor before Angela Merkel, wanted an IT-Entrepreneur, founder and owner of a medium sized own company, to head the Ministry of Trade and Industry. Internal discussions on the top level of the SPD opposed his attempt making him step back from his idea to appoint instead a former Teacher with no hands-on experiences in Economics, but having worked as a Journalist for many years, a strong Party Member.

Vaclav Harvel, former President of Chech Republic, was a highly rewarded Author of novels and plays before he had taken office enabling him to ensure a save guarded transformation of his country into the Western World and generate Democratic and Economic revenues for his people of the highest possible caliber the country was able to demonstrate in his time. His wisdom had enlightened many Leaders in Europe.

Donald Trump, successful businessman turning US-President, runs his country like a business entity while politics in a Democracy is far more complicated and complex as it needs the involvement of many minds and managing conflicting interests to bring ideas to work and move a country with might forward into a good future. His Administration is a chaos of people coming and going, voices contradicting each other. Around him, nobody can be sighted of excellence in experiences being able to exhibit or mind spoken. Yet, Americans among themselves have enough bright minds with proven track records that could better the country and make it fulfill its role in this world to the best possible standard.

Nelson Mandela, former President of South-Africa, a Hero of Humanity, would rise up from grave when seeing his successors ruining his much beloved Rainbow Nation into poverty in their spirit and finances. While his focus had been on ending of Apartheid and setting the Blacks free from the oppression of the Whites, he had forgotten to ensure Excellence in Politics around him that would work for the country in years to come.

Nigeria is currently ruled by a former Military, President Buhari, while the country has excellence in people like the Billionaire Dangote and others that are trained in their spirit to be Generation thinkers and to ensure investment made today will be sustainable for long time for the benefit of many knowing only when the work force is qualified and motivated, a company can make profit. Former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan was a standard qualified Lecturer at University that was not chosen by the ‘King Makers’ behind him based on his performance, only for his usefulness to perform in a certain way.

Democracy is based on certain basic principles one of which is that unseen strong men/women behind the scene make or break a Candidate on all Party levels, as Candidacy needs the support of others while a company Owner/Founder and Dictator are driven by their own inspirations.

Michelle Obama was ambitious and wise enough to understand, she herself would have never been at the top of the USA society for which reason she had to push her husband to become US President while he himself was reluctant in the beginning. Nancy Reagan, wife of late US President Ronald Reagan, told her husband what Politics he had to stand for and guided him with mental and emotional force through the process of his Presidency. John Fr. Kennedy, legendary US President, was pushed by his father Fitzgerald to become President and not only a Playboy chasing Marilyn Monroe and others.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, a young Minister of Environment under Helmut Kohl, a woman with great achievements, yet no great vision for the massive future problems humanity is faced with, was pushed by Strongman from the CDU, her party, to oust the old Chancellor and send him back to Ludwigshafen into retirement while themselves staying behind in the shadows of Power.

True Heroes of all walks of society avoid Politics, see it as an intellectual exercise, rather than a position with power to make the right things possible as they understand, the citizens of their society do not want to change too much and get taken out of their comfort zone, rather see changes in small steps that can easily be criticized as connected to many flaws in people of their own status of mind.

Societies want to be ruled over by second class citizens…sad to observe!
