Akyem Wenchi Youth Association Donates To Akyem Wenchi Clinic

As part of giving back to the society, the youth of Akyem Wenchi in the Eastern Region of Ghana have donated paints and ceiling fans to the Salvation Army Health Clinic for refurbishment.

This was necessitated when the administrator of the facility appealed to the executives of the association to help them restore the building of the facility to a user friendly standards when a courtesy call was paid on the administrator of the clinic, Mrs Agatha Essel.

Presenting the items to the staff of the clinic, Mr. Isaac Asamoah Darkwah, President of the association said "These items will help restore the physical appearance of the building and make the place more habitual ".

Miss Ellen Nyarkoa Agyei, women organizer of AWENYA, promised that the youth will always be there for the community in times of need. She appealed to all the youth to emulate good behavior and assist the community in diverse ways.

Mrs. Agartha Essel on her part thanked the youth for being the first ever association to donate to the facility. She charged other organization and individuals to support the clinic.
