WordDigest: Declare Opening Doors

Feature Article WordDigest: Declare Opening Doors
JUN 17, 2017 LISTEN

"He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him,(which means 'Be opened! At this, the man's ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he began to speak plainly" Mark 7:34-35 NIV

A crowd brought to Jesus a man deaf and dumb in Decapolis. The people beseeched Jesus for a miracle. Why would they begged Jesus for a healing on behalf of the man?

Could it be they felt Jesus was the solution? And of course He is the key to everything.

We are told Jesus put his fingers into the man's ears, spit and touched the man's tongue, and said"Ephphatha" translated from the Greek word meaning 'Be opened".

In the presence of the crowd, the man was able to speak and hear again.

Could it be that previous to meeting Jesus, the man had carried these infirmities for so long? Jesus was not bothered about how long the man has been with the burden.

It took none but only Jesus to save the man. Jesus declared an opening and it was established.

Beloved you are not alone in this battle. In spite of any situation let the name Jesus work for you.

In the days ahead any favor that has eluded you for so long declare an opening in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

God bless you.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I beseech you for an opening to any favor that has eluded me, that of my family and friends in Jesus name, Amen.

Confession
King of kings you are a reign maker God.
