Word Digest: Be ambitious for a good course

Word Digest: Be ambitious for a good course
14.06.2017 LISTEN

"Go," said Jesus, "your faith has healed you." Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road".

[Mark 10:52] NIV
There was a certain main called Bartimeaus, son of Timaeus. Bartimeaus, a blind beggar sat beside a road in Jericho.

Upon hearing the voice of Jesus the Nazarene, he shouted "Son of David, Jesus have mercy on me! ". Beforehand, the people around rebuked him to be silent.

But Bartimeaus so ambitious for a certain course downplayed the rebukes, defiled all odds and threw off his outer garment.

Bartimeaus leaped to his feet and went to Jesus for a recover of sight. His ambition for a recover of sight came good in the end.

Drawing a moral lesson from this piece, in all things we have to be ambitious for a good course deserving attention. In doing so, faith in Jesus is paramount.

Our ambition for the work of God through Christ Jesus should be genuine and purposeful.

"Vision is for everyone to benefit. But ambition is for your own benefit" Ebenezer Zor (EZ), 2017.

Be ambitious for a good course.
Prayer
