Zongo Ministry Not Created To Support Social Functions

Alhaji Abubakar Sidiq Boniface, the minister for zongo development and inner cities has indicated that his ministry will not contain any pressure to use funds allocated for ministry to support any social functions.

He said , this firm grounds will enable the ministry to achieve the purpose for which it was created for.

Alhaji Boniface was speaking to members of the National Council of Zongo Chiefs in a familiarization visits at kaokudi in Accra.

He said the ministry is not under any obligations to support social function such as durbars, marriages, naming among others.

He explained that the ministry will give much attention to youth entrepreneurship, women empowerment, girl child education among others.

The minister said ,very soon his ministry will rollout policies that ensures people give their best to achieve the development agendum.

He said, a lot more institutions has shown their readiness to partner the ministry to achieve its objectives

The minster urged the people to pray for the NPP government to achieve the purpose for which it was voted for.

Alhaji Umar Tanko, the Public Relation Officer ( PRO) for the Zabarma community thanked the minister for the incite and promised to throw their support for the development of Zongo communities.
