My End As Mahama

By Asempa Abankwa Okyere
Poem My End As Mahama
JUN 9, 2017 LISTEN

Everything with a beginning has to end;
So what goes around comes around.
The end is a beginning to another;
So I dream to brighten my end for the other...
My end scares me to the bone,
As I do not wish to end like Mahama,
And meet my untimely end with a stone.
I've none to seek justice under the hammer...
When my end finally comes,
Would I be remembered in times?
Would my legacy stand the test of times?
My friends, stand up and impact in your primes!
All lives matter, Civilian or Military,
Seek justice for one, seek for all
Are we all not Ghanaians, yet to fall?
Let us avoid this hypocrisy that kills all history!
