TEIN-UEWK Wishes All Moslems Successful Ramandan

It is a known fact that this epoch in the lives of our brothers and sisters in the Islamic religion is very crucial as they journey into their spiritual purification of the year.

This is the period where all the odds, ills and worldly desires and pleasures are of less interest as they focused on their spiritual purification. The season is characterized by fasting and prayer through out the month. This is done to seek forgiveness and onward blessing from Allah.

Believers of this religion deny themselves of a lot of fleshly pleasures including food, sex, lies, argument that can easily spark mayhem, fight, inter alia.

This occasion cleanses them of their past sins or bad deeds since all have sinned and fall shot of the glory of God. It makes them pure; worthy of Allah's blessing. This has deeply been ingrained in all Moslems across the length and breadth in this world. It is done on yearly bases at this particular period. It is in that regard that I named this month as the month of sanctity on their calendar. It is the month of spiritual fortification.

It is worthy of note that the continuous peace and tranquility that characterized Ghana is as an outgrowth of our unflinching commitment and devotion to some of these religious occasions. Ghana as a country is noted for her over indulgence in religious activities. No wonder every activity is commenced and closed with a prayer in Ghana.

For one to deny oneself of the enormous pleasures that are part and parcel of one live, it's suffice to state that it is impossible without Allah intervention despite one's doyen.

In that regard, we fervently pray that God guides and direct you all through this important season in your spiritual fortification as today marks the genesis of this spiritual journey. We therefore wish all Moslems a successful Ramadan.
