The world has witnessed the proliferation of churches in the 21st century, but few repentant souls. we are convinced by prosperity, miracles, testimonies, and riches messages but not converted in terms of humility, obedience, righteousness and peace that holds the key to the kingdom of God. Majority of the churches today has now become a hideout for thieves, pretenders, extortionist, instead of a place to seek for joy and comfort.

We don't live an exemplary life. For example, you passed twice at your neighbour's house and saw her daughter to be sick. And all you said was, why don't you take her to the hospital. In actual sense the woman knows that. Every woman knows the pain when in labour and will not watch her daughter die in her hands. Maybe giving some amount of money to your neighbour, then telling her to take her daughter to the hospital would have been better. Sometimes, you really have to give. We can talk as many times as we can, but if we don't act upon that, the situation thus standing. Faith must be accompanied by actions. Acting upon right principles will bring peace and comfort. A good deed is the best form of prayer.

The true reflection of the Christian faith can be seen in Mathew 25:35-44, feed those who are hungry, give water to those who are thirsty, receive strangers in your homes, cloth the naked, take care of the sick, visit those in prisons. What God the father considers to be pure and genuine religion is this: to take care of orphans and widows in their suffering and to keep oneself from being corrupted by the world (James 1:27, prov 14:31). The problem most Christians face today is that they have the lamp but they have not put on the light. Isaiah 29:13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men. Don't let human rules lead you astray, you have to obey God. It's funny when you hear fictitious testimonies, it's funny how some pastors praise and pride themselves on social media, it's funny how some people jump from church to church all in the name of miracles.

Don't only give when in the church. When you buy water for a school boy/girl who is thirsty or when you buy food for that poor vagrant who lives around the neighbourhood, is worth 300 Ghana cedis consultation fee. Sometimes is not about offering 100 Ghana cedis in the church, but buying 1 cedi kenkey for the mad man on the street. Let's reach the outcast in society. Don't give because you have to give but give happily to those who need it.

Men lose all the materials they leave behind them in this world, but they carry with them the reward of their charity and the alms they give. For these, they will receive from the Lord the reward and recompense they deserve (Francis of Asisi).

Luke 6:33.And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. Do good with no strings attached, for freely were you given, freely shall you give.

We don't need a miracle to know fake people in society,is through their actions. Matthew 7:16 You shall know them by their fruits. Let's always pray for knowledge and plead for insight in understanding God's word.
